Sevilla Elementary Middle School opened its doors in January for a Writer’s Gallery that transformed the school’s multipurpose room into a showcase of student voice, creativity, and academic growth. Families and community members were invited to view student writing from kindergarten through eighth grade, highlighting the progression of skills from early brainstorming to polished final pieces.

Students from Sevilla Elementary Middle School recently had an opportunity to step onto the flightline at Morón Air Base for an up-close look at one of the U.S. Air Force’s most iconic aircraft, the B-52 Stratofortress. Hosted by the 96th Bomb Squadron, the visit gave students a rare glimpse into strategic aviation and the Airmen who keep the aircraft mission ready.

Ramstein Elementary School welcomed 120 prekindergarten students this week as part of the second year of DoDEA Europe’s phased rollout of prekindergarten. With eight classes, Ramstein now hosts the largest prekindergarten program in DoDEA Europe.

This month, our schools are hosting a wide range of events that include clap-ins, purple shirt days, interactive activities, performances by school bands, and more — all aimed at recognizing the vital role military children play in supporting their families and communities.
